The Badger is a nocturnal predator of the marten family, with its distinctive black and white coat, long snout, stocky body and short sturdy legs. Badgers live in hilly forest areas of Europe and feed on earthworms, insects, rodents, grains and berries. Badgers use their powerful paws to dig extensive branched funnel systems underground, which are used over generations.
